Can I change my step goal?
You cannot change your step goal; however, you will notice that your step goal will be recalculated every Monday.
To take into account seasonal changes and how your walking habits may change over time, your daily step goal will be automatically recalculated weekly based on your recent activity level. You can check how you’re doing each day by checking into the “Steps” icon at the bottom of your Carrot app.
Do I need to be connected to the internet to track my steps?
You do not need internet access to track your steps. However, you will need internet access for Carrot to retrieve your step count data from Google Fit, Samsung Health, Apple Health, or Fitbit. If you are participating in Streaks, you will need to sync these steps daily.
My Fitbit is not syncing with Carrot
On the “Manage Devices” page, please select iPhone/Google Fit and then re-select Fitbit. If it is still not working, please revoke Carrot’s access by going to the Fitbit website and signing in with your Fitbit account credentials. Go to your settings, and under “Applications”, please revoke Carrot’s access. Completely close and re-open Carrot and once you have completed this step, please pair your Fitbit with Carrot again.
I have reached my goal on Fitbit but I have selected Google Fit, Samsung Health or Apple Health on Carrot Rewards. Do I still get my points?
Please make sure to select the device you are using to track your steps in our app. Carrot Rewards retrieves the step information from the device that is selected in our app, so if you have not met your step goal using that device, you will not be credited with the points despite meeting the step goal on another device.
